As part of the movement for unity and seeking God in our area of California, Santa Rosa and several surrounding cities have begun a 40 Day Prayer and Fast. Starting Friday, the churches of Santa Rosa will begin 10 days of prayer and fasting. There will be nightly gatherings at City Life Fellowship, as well as a final gathering Sunday evening, May 31st, at Santa Rosa Alliance church.

Christ Tabernacle is committed to praying and fasting for our county and its churches and people, asking God for a fresh new outpouring of His Holy Spirit on our lives. As the city of Sonoma concludes their 10 days, Santa Rosa will pick up the baton and begin earnestly seeking the Lord. We encourage every member of Christ Tabernacle to set aside time, be it 1 day or all 10, to join the county churches in fasting and prayer as we intercede before God about our City. We believe there are greater things to come!

Pastors from the locals churches have drawn up prayer points and scriptures for meditation on each day of this fast. The prayer points for this time are based on the Lord’s prayer. You can access the daily prayer points by clicking below:

On July 22-25, the Christ Tabernacle Youth Group is heading up to Washington to attend Creation Northwest at The Gorge. The biggest Christian Music Festival in the country, Creation Northwest is 4 days of awesome music, special guest speakers and lots of fun, all centered around helping young people establish and grow in their walk with Jesus Christ.

The 2009 Annual Christ Tabernacle Snow Trip was a huge success and tons of fun! Besides sledding and snowball fights, there was a huge spread with tri-tip and chocolate cake (and much more). In the Word on Wednesday Night

Are you interested in knowing more about the Bible?  Are you hungry for a deeper knowledge of God’s Word?  Would you like more information on historical, archeological and literary aspects of your reading?  Men’s and Women’s Ministries of Christ Tabernacle have begun an inductive study of the Bible through the Gospel of John and Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.  You are invited to join a friendly, fun, and dynamic group of me and women who love God, His Word, and each other.  We meet each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Tabernacle.  For more information, please feel free to eMail Pastor Sam Celovsky (Men) or Debra Celovsky (Ladies). As we enter into 2009, we remember that, no matter what the state of the world, the economy, or our personal lives, God is able to make sudden, dramatic and lasting changes in our lives. As you make your way through this year, remember to place your hope and your trust in God. He’ll accomplish more than you ever thought possible!

It’s time again for the MOST FUN WE HAVE ALL YEAR!! You have three Weeks to get your “Acts Together”. . . and present it to the church, family, and friends. Last year’s performances included musical numbers, skits, martial arts demonstrations, a how-to on entertaining your kids in the car, poetry readings, a huge dance-off finale that included a GIANT Afro and much, much more. Help us top last year by performing an act or demonstration by yourself, or with your family and friends. No talent is too small or too off the wall.

The Talent Show is Sunday night, October 19th at 6pm. Willow Sanders is once again organizing the Show, so let her know if you’re even THINKING about an act! 2008 CityKids in Santa Rosa was a huge success. Christ Tabernacle would like to thank everyone who donated their time, money and resources to this great event. We sang songs, passed out bags of goodies, even made snow-cones for the kids! What a privilege it is to share the love of Jesus with our City as we minister to their needs.
