In just a few short weeks, the Christ Tabernacle Youth Group will head to Washington State to attend the Creation West Festival at The Gorge. You can help send them by attending the Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser, this Thursday night, just down the road from the church. The Youth Group will be cooking and serving delicious Spaghetti with meat sauce or pesto, as well as salad, warm French garlic bread as well as drinks and dessert!

Admission is only $8 for adults, $5 for kids under 12, and under 3 years old are free! You are invited to join all your church family and friends at a fun evening of food and fellowship! Invite your friends to this great event, and let’s raise money for the Youth Group and eat some delicious food in the process.

On July 22-25, the Christ Tabernacle Youth Group is heading up to Washington to attend Creation Northwest at The Gorge. The biggest Christian Music Festival in the country, Creation Northwest is 4 days of awesome music, special guest speakers and lots of fun, all centered around helping young people establish and grow in their walk with Jesus Christ.

The 2009 Annual Christ Tabernacle Snow Trip was a huge success and tons of fun! Besides sledding and snowball fights, there was a huge spread with tri-tip and chocolate cake (and much more). 2008 CityKids in Santa Rosa was a huge success. Christ Tabernacle would like to thank everyone who donated their time, money and resources to this great event. We sang songs, passed out bags of goodies, even made snow-cones for the kids! What a privilege it is to share the love of Jesus with our City as we minister to their needs.

“Serving Christ by Serving Others”

On May 3rd, 2008, Christ Tabernacle, along with dozens of churches and hundreds of volunteers, took part in the annual Sonoma County Spring Clean, and outreach to the community. On Saturday, Christ Tabernacle joined other churches to pull weeds, pick up trash, clean, sweep, scrub, paint, fix and build throughout the community. In April 2008, the Christ Tabernacle Youth Group took part in 30 Hour Famine, a national program that highlights the issues of hunger and poverty in our society. The group did a series of drive-by prayers, dropping off notes at people’s houses, then took part in a 30 hour fast, during which they stood at street corners and intersections holding signs asking for food. Finally, they broke fast by eating food served in garbage bags.
