Midweek Meetings
In the Word on Wednesday Night
Are you interested in knowing more about the Bible? Are you hungry for a deeper knowledge of God’s Word? Would you like more information on historical, archeological and literary aspects of your reading?
Men’s and Women’s Ministries of Christ Tabernacle have begun an inductive study of the Bible through the Gospel of John and Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. You are invited to join a friendly, fun, and dynamic group of me and women who love God, His Word, and each other. We meet each Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Tabernacle. For more information, please feel free to eMail Pastor Sam Celovsky (Men) or Debra Celovsky (Ladies). Babysitting and refreshments are provided.
A Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Old Testament
Wanting to deepen your understanding the Old Testament? Curious as to how modern events relate to Biblical events? Looking to learn from those who’ve gone before?
This terrific study takes us through the Old Testament using everything from modern film and ancient maps to Renaissance art and modern
politics and, of course, the Scripture itself. We’re diving into the people, places and events and aspiring to understand and relate to them in a fresh, relevant way. In the past few weeks we’ve used Milton’s Paradise Lost, Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam and the current situation in the Middle East as background for our study.
We’d love for you to join us in exploring the deep, powerful, fascinating and relevant Word of God!
Hitchhikers is hosted by Nicolas and Dana Celovsky on Tuesday night at 7pm. There’s tasty snacks, great conversation and fascinating insights into the Word of God. You can reach Nick @ (707) 694-4781 or eMail at Nick@ChristTabernacleSR.org.
