Local Outreach

Christ Tabernacle believes that reaching the lost and caring for the poor are cornerstones of the Great Commission, and as such, we regard supporting missions both locally and abroad as one of the most important things we do as a church.

Christ Tabernacle is actively involved in our community, supporting a variety of local outreach, missions and recovery groups in Sonoma County. Here is a partial list of organizations we are involved with:

Pregnancy Counseling Center

pccheader.JPGPCC in Sonoma County offers free and confidential counseling and services to men and women facing unplanned pregnancy. PCC is equipped to help deal with their clients emotional and physical needs, and believe that women should be treated as individuals and not part of an issue. Redwood Gospel Mission

rgm2.JPGThis outreach provides food, shelter and clothing to the homeless in Sonoma County, as well as drug/alcohol recovery, transition housing and job development programs and battered women’s shelter, while maintaining a focus on helping the needy find a relationship with Jesus Christ. The Mission also hosts Food Drives, Kids Days and Holiday Banquets for the County’s homeless. For more information, click on SRMission.org.

Alcoholics Anonymous

AA meets at Christ Tabernacle on Thursday nights at 7pm. For more information, or to locate your nearest group, call (800) 224-1300 or visit Sonoma County AA Online.
